Juventus celebratingEnglish Championship club Reading have confirmed that they are in discussions with Italian champions Juventus with a view to entering a partnership together.

Although it would not be an exclusive one between the clubs, it would see the Royals benefit from taking Bianconeri players on board in a way similar to that of Watford and Udinese.

Speaking with the city’s local newspaper theĀ Reading Post, owner Anton Zingaervich said: “They are looking for partnership clubs and we are in talks with them at the moment.

“They have up to 100 players on the books who they hope to develop and are looking for clubs to partner with who can help them do that.”

He did admit there could be other sides involved and insisted that it was by no means a done deal yet.

“It is not an exclusive arrangement where it will only be us and we will be part of a group that they are looking to partner with,” he continued. “But it is good to be established with a club like Juve. I cannot confirm anything yet though, only discussions.”
