Roma and Napoli Target Argentine Midfielder
Known as “El Wachiturro”, as he is a fan of Argentine music group Los Wachiturros, who are known to play cumbia music, a popular genre in South America.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Racing Club want €8 million for the midfielder, while Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala were interested in the 20-year-old but the move broke down after it was discovered that he had a congenital problem in his ankle.
As a result, both Roma and Napoli have rekindled their interest in Centurion and the latter were interested in buying him last season.
He played three matches in this year’s U20 South American Championship for Argentina. The Albicelestes failed to qualify from the group stage and missed out this year’s FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
Centurion has played in 29 matches for La Academia, scoring four goals.
