De Rossi - RomaRoma and Paris Saint-Germain could be in the middle of arranging a trade involving midfielders Daniele De Rossi and Marco Verratti.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the French club have recently gained interest in De Rossi and could be offering Verratti in a proposed exchange.

However, it has also been reported that the Giallorossi veteran may prefer a move to one of the two other clubs said to be in pursuit of him, those clubs being Chelsea and Real Madrid, in order to work with Jose Mourinho or Carlo Ancelotti.

If a deal between Roma and PSG doesn’t take place, any team looking to sign the 29-year-old will have to pay no less than €15 million, the asking price set by Lupi director Walter Sabatini

Marco Verratti’s agent weighed in on these rumours of a trade in the works while speaking to AS Roma Radio and insisted that there is no truth to them.

“It’s absolute rubbish. There is nothing in it,” said agent Donato Di Campli.

“Will he join Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid? At the moment the priority is to remain in Paris.”
