Garcia - RomaRoma coach Rudi Garcia has taken a shot at the club’s critics and admitted that he’s impressed by his new team’s quality.

The 49-year-old took over the position of Giallorossi coach last month, replacing temporary boss Aurelio Andreazzoli.

Garcia spoke during a press conference and complimented the Roma squad, while delivering a message to all who may doubt the club.

“My first impressions have been positive,” said the former Lille boss. “The quality is excellent as is the work ethic already installed into the players.

“Critics of this club and the players cannot be fans of Roma. Perhaps they are fans of Lazio.”

The French tactician then commented on the future of his squad, as Pablo Osvaldo, Marquinhos, and Daniele De Rossi have all been linked with possible moves away from the Lupi this summer.

“The players need to work in peace. We still have time to bring in new players.

“At the moment, Osvaldo and Marquinhos are with us. De Rossi is not for sale. It is better if he stays with us.”
