Chievo’s new coach Giuseppe Sannino has stated that he is excited about getting to work at the Bentegodi.
The 56-year-old took over from Eugenio Corini’s on Monday, and the former Palermo man insisted that the Gialloblu did everything to secure his services.
“Chievo were one of the first teams to contact me,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“They really put a strong emphasis on me.”
“President Luca Campedelli and sporting director Giovanni Sartori are serious people.”
“Staying in Serie A was the best option for me.”
“I know the team is followed by a lot of people in the city of Verona, but I am calm.”
