Marco Faraoni - UdineseUdinese wide man Marco Faraoni has boarded a plane to England this evening to fly in and finalise a transfer that will see him join Gianfranco Zola’s Watford.

The Pozzo family are of course invested in both clubs and as a result, many Zebrette players spent a season on loan at Vicarage Road last year.

Sky Sport 24 report that he only has to agree to personal details before signing the contract that will see him join the Championship club in time to partake in their pre-season schedule.

Diego Fabbrini and Gabriele Angella are others who are also thought to be set to swap the Friuliani for the Hornets this summer as they look to push on for Premier League promotion.

Faraoni joined Udinese last summer from Inter where he was a standout in their youth sides but failed to impress in Udine last season, never securing a regular starting spot.
