enrico preziosiGenoa president EnricoPreziosi has been discussing the Grifone transfer activity summer giving brief updates on where the club stand on several players.

The 65-year-old was noting the potential arrival of striker Moussa Konate and that Alberto Gilardino will remain at the Luigi Ferraris.

“Konate arrives tomorrow. Gilardino remains and it is on the market for [Marco] Borriello, no regrets.” Preziosi told Primocanale.

“In attack we are covered: with the departure of [Ciro] Immobile with [Richmond] Boakye and [Antonio] Floro [Flores], Gilardino and Konate is a brilliant attack.

“For Kucka, however, leaving is [Andreas] Granqvist.

“[Emiliano] Moretti and [Cesare] Bovo go to Torino.

“Moretti has given so much, but with [Luca] Antonelli and [Giovanni] Marchese opportunities are closed.

“[Sime] Vrsaljko we like, there is an offer and hope to close.

“If [Sebastien] Frey accepts the offers received, we will move but I do not do names. [Mattia] Perin is not yet ready.

“Matuzalem we want to keep it, while [Alberto] Santana is really liked by [coach Fabio] Liverani, I guess this could be done.”
