Cesare Natali bolognaBologna defender Cesare Natali has revealed that he’s had the opportunity to make a move to England on more than one occasion.

The Rossoblu recently arrived in Manchester to train and start their England summer tour, during which they will play against the Liverpool Under-21 squad and West Bromwich Albion.

Natali spoke about the different atmosphere that’s present in the country and admitted that he’s had a couple of chances to play there throughout his career.

“There is always a particular charming atmosphere here,” said the 34-year-old.

“I have played friendlies against English teams often in my career, including a match against Liverpool at Anfield when I was with Fiorentina.

“I’ve always admired the way they play with great intensity and without any frills.

“This will be a busy but pleasant week for Bologna.

“I’ve had opportunities to play in the Premier League. In the past when I was younger, Wolverhampton have shown interest in me.

“And in more recent times, Fulham have looked to me as well, but I refused both proposals.”
