Former Siena and Lecce coach Serse Cosmi believes that AC Milan will have to change their tactics to accommodate new signing Alessandro Matri.
The 29-year-old is set to join the Rossoneri from Juventus on Friday for a fee of €11 million and Cosmi believes that his signing will signal a change in tactics for coach Massimiliano Allegri.
“I think that with Matri’s arrival there will be a change in style,” Cosmi told Sky Sport.
“Also because I don’t think that he can play with Balotelli and it’s unthinkable that a striker, that did not play at Juventus, would arrive at Milan and continue not to play.”
Matri has scored 29 goals in 83 appearances for Juventus during his three seasons at the club.
