Bojan Krkic AC MilanAjax forward Bojan Krkic has wished AC Milan a great season after paying his old club a visit in Holland ahead of their Champions League playoff with PSV Eindhoven.

The 22-year-old Spaniard signed for Dutch giants Ajax on loan from Barcelona after having spent the 2012/13 season on loan with the Rossoneri, and he used their Champions League tie in Eindhoven as an opportunity to drop in on some old friends.

“It was great to see my ex-teammates, the staff and everyone at the club again. I live around here and it seemed to me the least I could do was to visit my former colleagues,” he told Milan Channel.

Bojan’s loan deal was not renewed in Milan due to the Via Turati club not being able to offer him the playing time he desired, but he still wishes his old team well.

“[AC] Milan against PSV [Eindhoven]? They can definitely do it. I wish Milan a great season, we hope to meet each other in the group stages of the Champions League.”

The Catalan native scored three goals in 27 appearances for the San Siro side last year before sealing another loan switch to Ajax ahead of the 2013/14 season.
