didac vila milanReal Betis defender Didac Vila has revealed that is not thinking about making a return to AC Milan after the 2013-14 season.

The 24-year-old, who is currently on a season-long loan with the Spanish club, hasn’t seen much time on the pitch for the Rossoneri since arriving at the club in 2011, largely due to injuries and a loan to Espanyol during the 2011-12 campaign.

Vila spoke to Marca about joining Real Betis and commented on his time with the Diavolo.

“There is a lot of competition at Betis, but it’s a good team,” said the left back.

“Above all, it’s a humble team and hopefully we can be competitive in all competitions.

“We must adapt to different styles of play, which is what I like.

“[Massimiliano] Allegri? The coach decides if you play. If he doesn’t like you, you don’t play.

“I was fully recovered from an injury with three months left in the season, but there was no room for me because the squad was already set.

“I had a strange time at AC Milan, since the beginning I haven’t had good opportunities and I was injured for half of the last season.

“It’s complicated because you play game with such high-level players, but I have no resentment.

“For now I don’t think of returning to wear the AC Milan shirt.”
