Bosko Jankovic VeronaHellas Verona midfielder Bosko Jankovic has praised Roma ahead of their clash on Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico.

The newly promoted Gialloblu, who beat AC Milan 2-1 in their first Serie A match of the season, are preparing to face the Giallorossi and the 29-year-old believes his club will have to put in extra effort to succeed.

Jankovic spoke during a press conference about Hellas Verona’s victory over the Rossoneri and dubbed Roma as one of the best squads in Italy.

“We all played a good match,” said the Serbian international. “It’s never easy to win against the Rossoneri.

“We’ve been good, but now it’s already time to think about Roma.

“A team that is in better form than Milan, at the moment, and plays a different type of football. They are the favourites.

“We will be playing away from home and will have to give much more to get a result.

“I’m always motivated against them. The past two years, while I was at Genoa, I scored two goals at the Marassi.

“Their strong point? They are one of the best Italian teams, the most complete from offence to defence.

“How am I at Hellas Verona? I feel part of the project, as if I’ve always been here.

“With this group we can truly do good this season.”
