palacio - interInter forward Rodrigo Palacio has insisted that the side are highly motivated to get a good result against Juventus.

The two teams will face off in Miami for 7th position in the Guinness International Champions Cup.

Both teams have had a forgettable tournament in the United States as the Bianconeri lost to Everton and the LA Galaxy, while the Nerazzurri were brushed aside by Chelsea and Valencia.

“It’s always a big occasion when you play Juventus and hopefully we’ll do well,” the Argentine told Inter Channel.

“Neither side has done brilliantly in their recent friendlies and that just goes to show how difficult it is to manage a heavy workload and obtain results straight away.

“We’ve been working very hard and our legs are heavy, but we have to keep on the way we are.”

Palacio also commented on his role under new coach Walter Mazzarri.

“I’m enjoying playing as the second striker. I still need to adjust to playing in that position.

“However, the coach is giving me loads of advice – he’s always pointing out what I should do and where I can improve.”
