Inter - CittadellaInter have signed up with Nike for 10 years in a deal that will earn them around €200m.

Even though the Nerazzurri had three years left on the current deal with Nike they have agreed to stay with the brand for another decade.

The agreement should see Inter pocket €20m over this time frame and if performances allow they could even gain additional revenue.

The partnership between the American brand and the Milanese club has been in place since 1998 and they will now look to expand their commercial revenue.

A club statement read: “Inter and Nike first joined forces in 1998 and have since shared a common vision of football as an authentic, international sport. The result has been a series of unique successes in Italy, Europe and the world.

“The new sponsorship deal further strengthens Inter’s position as one of the world’s top clubs and confirms its desire to continue expanding globally.

“A key driving force will be the realisation of a joint project to open specialised stores, and the rolling out of a new strategy for the development and marketing of Inter-brand merchandise.”
