Inter will look to continue negotiations with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain for the services of full-back Gregory van der Wiel.
Although reports suggest that PSG are looking to offload the Dutch international on a permanent basis, it has been suggested that they are also willing to consider a loan deal with a right to purchase that has been proposed by the 25-year-old’s agent Mino Raiola.
However, according to L’Equipe the French side are also keen to secure a replacement before any departure and have identified Arsenal’s Bacary Sagna, Mathieu Debuchy of Newcastle and Barcelona’s Dani Alves as potential targets.
The former Ajax defender only arrived last summer for a fee of around €6 million but he struggled all season to oust club captain Christophe Jallet from the right-back position and made only 22 league appearances.
