Juan Jesus: I am learning more and more under new Inter boss

Juan Jesus - InterInter defender Juan Jesus has declared that he’s already learning from his new coach Walter Mazzarri since the Italian tactician took over from Andrea Stramaccioni in the summer.

The Brazilian who was a constant feature in the Nerazzurri’s defence last season, playing 44 games in all competitions.

Nevertheless the 22-year-old believes that he still has to improve if he wishes to remain in the starting XI at Inter, but insists that with more competition at the club it will help him be more determined.

“I always try to do my best,” he told Inter Channel. “I am learning to try and know more and more about Italian football.

“The more time passes though, the more you improve.

“When you join a new team it always takes a while to adapt, but now I feel more at ease.

“Competiton for places is a good thing.

“We have some quality players, and in every workout we have to prove our worth to the coach.

“Mazzarri is teaching us a lot and we are doing well.”
