Burak Yilmaz - GalatasarayLazio have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Galatasaray star forward Burak Yilmaz regarding a move to Italy.

Multiple clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, have been monitoring the 28-year-old this summer after his impressive 2012/13 season, but the Italian club might be one step ahead in the chase for the highly rated player.

According to sabah.com.tr, the agreement between the Biancocelesti and Yilmaz, who scored 24 goals in 30 Super Lig appearances last campaign, is for five years with annual wages in the range of €2.5 million.

Sporx reports that Lazio are ready to pay Galatasaray €10 million for the Turkish international, however the Turkish champions have put a  €15m price tag on their star.

The former Trabzonspor man caused a furore in the Champions League last season, when he scored eight times in nine games in helping his side to the quarter-finals for the first time since 2001.

I know exactly how you feel. I am a Newcastle fan and hate seeing good players they are linked to later on move to other teams. With Arsenal must be even worse, they are in every rumor. They only lie they’re gonna spend big just so the fans get hopeful and buy the season passes. :/
