Peter VermesThe coach of the MLS All Star side that hosted Roma in their first game of their North American tour has praised the giallorossi heavily complementing many aspects of their game.

Peter Vermes took the charge of the MLS side containing players such as Thierry Henry but could not manage to produce a result on the pitch as Rudi Garcia’s side ran out comfortable 3-1 victors.

“They’re very organised,” the 46-year-old admitted in the post match press conference.

“In both aspects of the game, in defending and when they go forward. They have great balance and excellent movement off the ball. They were able to create pressure really well and switch their point of attack.”

Matt Besler, a member of the MLS All Star squad also spoke kindly of Roma stating, “You give these guys half a second or if you’re all not on the same page, it really does make it tough.

“These guys are world class players, some of the passes they were making made it difficult for us to defend.”

Roma continue their North American tour next moving on to Boston before travelling to Toronto and finally Washington D.C.
