Livorno coach Davide Nicola feels his side lost with dignity as they fell to 2-0 to Roma in the opening game of the 2013-14 Serie A season.
Goals from Daniele De Rossi and Alessandro Florenzi sealed the win for the Giallorossi but Nicola was not too downbeat after the match.
“We lost with dignity against a great team,” the 40-year-old tactician stated.
“We have seen on the field two different realities. We need to complete the team and I am sure that president Spinelli will operate in the right way.”
Livorno’s next game is away to Sassuolo as two of the newly promoted sides face off.
