Tommaso Rocchi InterFormer Inter forward Tommaso Rocchi is bemused with the fact he is yet to have any interest, from any Serie A side.

The free agent was released by Inter in June after the expiration of his six-month contract and he has said that he is struggling to find a place in Serie A.

Speaking recently to the Italian press, the 35-year-old said: “To be honest, I’m surprised by the disregard in me from the Italian top flight this summer.”

The striker has spent his whole career in Italy with nearly a decade of that at Lazio and the player is not ready to exit Serie A just yet.

“I want to underline the fact that I still feel good enough for the top division.

“I’ve had a series of offers from abroad, interesting ones at that, but I’ve really been thrown by the fact that nobody in Serie A is thinking of me.”

The player confirmed he has had a concrete offer from Padova and there are rumours that offers could be on the table from Dubai, Malaysia and Australia.

The veteran striker however still feels good enough for the top flight.

“I scored three goals in my last eight games for Inter. Despite it being a difficult year for the team, I have shown I can play and do well.”
