United States midfielder Landon Donovan has been linked with a possible move to Serie A over the last few days.
Donovan, was recently quoted by Fox Sports 1 as saying “he is getting interesting offers from over seas.”
Several articles and links to the United States’ all-time cap leader have come out saying Serie A clubs such as Hellas Verona and AC Milan are interested. A source close to LA Galaxy organization has confirmed that Genoa is interested as well.
Donovan’s agent held talks with Genoa president Enrico Preziosi this week after manager Fabio Liverani had scouts watch Donovan in the CONCACAF Gold Cup where he had 5 goals and 7 assists helping the United States to capture the title.
There is also reported interest from La Liga and the Premier League in the 31-year-old.
