fabio quagliarella - Juventus v Inter

West Ham United are pressing hard to sign Juventus hit-man Fabio Quagliarella.

With several clubs battling it out for Quagliarella’s signature, a lot will be dependant on Alessandro Matri and his proposed move to AC Milan.

While the Hammers are keen to bring the former Napoli man to England, alfredopedulla.com reports that they will face stiff competition from Schalke and Arsenal as they have also made their interest known.

However any move for the striker will be dependant on Matri’s reported €11 million move to Milan on Friday, as the Bianconeri may opt to keep Quagliarella at the club and thus making his future even murkier.

Italian international Quagliarella signed for Juventus from hometown club Napoli in 2010 and has managed 26 goals in 79 appearances for the Turin giants.
