Wigan Athletic are looking at the possibility of strengthening their attack by recruiting Libor Kozak from Lazio.
The Czech Republic international has found it hard to break into the Biancocelesti side and is behind both Miroslav Klose and Sergio Floccari in Vladimir Petkovic’s plans.
According to Sky Italia, the FA Cup winners are now interested in bringing him to the DW Stadium but will have to ensure they make an appropriate offer for his services given that Udinese and Chievo have recently had bids for him turned down.
He has now spent five seasons with the Aquile but last season was a frustrating one for him domestically given that he failed to manage a single goal in the league for the Coppa Italia champions.
However, he did hit eight goals in the Europa League.
