Luiz Gustavo Bayern MunichBundesliga club Wolfsburg have reportedly joined the pursuit of Inter target Luiz Gustavo of Bayern Munich, although their recent bid has been turned down for by the European champions.

With Inter already having a loan proposal for the 26-year-old rejected by the German club it is believed that their compatriots have made a cash offer of €15.5 million.

However, according to Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung Bayern are wanting at least €20m before allowing the Brazilian international to discuss a move with interested parties.

Even though the Bavarian club have yet to receive an offer meeting their valuation the financial package required to secure the former Hoffenheim midfielder makes it unlikely that the Nerazzurri will take him to the San Siro.

A desire to gain regular first-team football ahead of his country’s hosting of the World Cup could see Gustavo force a move away from Munich but even if Bayern were to lower their valuation Inter will struggle to compete.
