Zenit St. Petersburg are reportedly the latest club to be interested in signing Juventus striker Alessandro Matri.
The 29-year-old Italian’s future remains uncertain at Juventus Arena, as the Old Lady has reinforced their attacking options with the summer signings of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente from Manchester City and Athletic Bilbao respectively.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti is keen to bring the former Milan youth product in Russia.
The former Cagliari striker, who has scored 29 goals in 83 games for the Turin giants, could be available for a fee in the region of €15 million.
Matri has been previously linked with Premiership duo Everton and Liverpool, as well as Coppa Italia holders Lazio.
