Benitez - NapoliRafael Benitez has praised the contribution captain Marek Hamsik’s four goals have made during Napoli’s opening two Serie A victories, but insisted the credit should be shared among the team.

Whilst attempting not to be drawn on the Partenopei’s Scudetto chances the Spaniard expressed his belief that the Slovakian will be a vital component of the side as they aim to win the Serie A title.

“My Napoli is like Liverpool,” Benitez told Tuttomercatoweb.

“They are two teams that are very similar, especially as the football is lived in the city and for the passion of the fans.

“We need to score many goals, only in this way you can try to fight for the Scudetto. But now it is too early to say such certain things since we are only at the beginning and the competition is long and so fierce.

“He [Hamsik] is a player who can become very strong, but the merit of the victories should be split with the rest of the team. Alone you cannot win.
