Napoli coach Rafael Benitez believes his side are not yet playing to their full potential even after defeating AC Milan 2-1.Benitez - Napoli

Pepe Reina’s penalty save on Mario Balotelli and goals from Miguel Britos and Gonzalo Higuain saw Napoli leave the San Siro with three points, but Benitez did not like the fact they allowed Milan the chances they did.

“We must improve on many things, but a win here must satisfy a coach,” Benitez said to Sky Sport after the match.

“I had said we were at 72 per cent, and now we are at 73 because we can still improve a lot, and winning can improve things bit by bit.”

Benitez also believed his side allowed Balotelli too much space to work in and that despite the scoreline Milan played well.

“Milan played a great match, it was not easy to control Balotelli who had space and time to do damage.”

Thanks to the result Napoli currently occupy second in the table despite their perfect record, only denied top spot by Roma due to goal difference.
