Andrea Consigli - AtalantaFiorentina have reportedly made an offer for Atalanta goalkeeper Andrea Consigli.

Viola coach Vincenzo Montella has recently backed current number one Neto but question marks loom over the Brazilian’s status as first choice.

L’Eco di Bergamo newspaper have claimed that an offer has been made by Fiorentina for the 26-year-old Consigli consisting of a cash plus players deal.

Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazy and Polish midfielder Rafal Wolski are said to be the two offered to the Bergamo club but sources close to Atalanta say they do not wish to sell the player who came through their youth system.

Consigli has been called up to the Italian national team squad but is yet to earn his first cap at senior level.  He has made over 160 appearances for Atalanta.
