Former Lazio striker happy to be with Aston Villa

New Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak has stated that he’s happy to be at his new club while taking time to thank the Lazio supporters for their affection during his time in Italy.

The 24-year-old, who had been with the Biancocelesti since 2008, signed for the Premier League side for a reported fee of €6 million on the last day of this year’s summer transfer window.

Kozak wrote on his Twitter account following the finalisation of his agreement with the Villans and expressed that he’s grateful for his time in Rome.

“I’m finally happy,” said the Czech international. “Now I’m a player for Aston Villa!

“I want to thank all of the fans who have supported me during my experience at Lazio!
