Sebastien Frey - GenoaDespite departing Genoa for Turkish side Bursaspor this summer, goalkeeper Sebastien Frey still has a soft spot for the port city outfit.

The Frenchman left the Rossoblu after two seasons there where he impressed having joined in 2011 from Fiorentina.

With the Grifoni celebrating their 120th anniversary this week, Frey extended his congratulations to the club on achieving such a milestone with a tweet, saying: “My heartiest greetings to the oldest team in Italy on this, its 120th anniversary!”

Frey did admit upon leaving in the summer that he was “saddened” to leave behind a support with whom he had built up a good rapport with and where he had enjoyed his football.

The 33-year-old first arrived in Serie A in 1998 when he joined Inter and remained in Italy for the 15 years which followed.
