Walter Gargano has admitted that he made the best choice in signing for Parma from Napoli.
The Uruguayan midfielder was s deemed urplus to requirements at the San Paolo and has completed a season-long loan move from to the Gialloblu, after reportedly being turning down the likes of Sunderland, Fulham and Cagliari.
“I am proud to be at Parma,” he told Parma Channel
“It is the club that has shown that they want me the most, they have a great history which I know and my family likes the city a lot. I couldn’t have made a better choice.
“It is very emotional to come here, meet the team-mates, the club,”
The 29-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Inter, has signed on one year loan deal with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
