Italian youngster Marco Verratti could be heading for a return to Serie A with Italian giants Juventus and Inter favourites to sign the Paris Saint-Germain playmaker.

Despite many believing that the Verratti should have remained in Italy after helping secure Pescara promotion to the Italian top flight no Serie A side could match the spending power of the Parisians as he departed for Ligue 1 in July 2012.

However, after winning the French league title last season Tuttojuve.com are reporting that the Paris club are willing to consider offers for the talented 20-year-old.

Although the Italian international has many admires throughout Europe it is his desire to return to his homeland and finally begin his Serie A career that has seen the Old Lady and Nerazzurri become favourites for his signature.

Last season Verratti made 27 appearances as PSG clinched the French league title but is yet to register a goal with the club.
