Gregory van der Wiel has revealed he rejected a move to Inter during the summer in favour of staying at his current club Paris Saint-Germain.
The Dutchman had a doubtful first season at the Parc des Princes and the Nerazzurri were keen to take him to Serie A, however a deal never materialised and he stayed in Paris.
“Inter had been interested and they were concrete and serious, but I refused to leave because I wanted to prove that I am good enough to play for PSG,” he told Voetbal International.
The 25-year-old has made four Ligue 1 appearances this season.
