Inter striker Diego Milito is nearing his return from injury after scoring in the Nerazzurri’s 2-2 friendly draw against Lugano on Saturday morning.
The friendly encounter took place at the Beneamata’s training ground, with two halves of 35 minutes being played.
The Swiss visitors were on top in the first half, going 2-0 up and having a penalty saved by Nerazzurri ‘keeper Luca Castellazzi. However the home side fought back after the break with Milito netting from a Wallace assist and Zdravko Kuzmanovic levelling three minutes later with a curling effort.
The veteran forward hadn’t played for Inter’s senior side since rupturing cruciate ligaments seven minutes into the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 Europa League win over CFR Cluj in February.
