The Old Lady remain fourth with five games played, two points adrift of leaders of Roma, following a controversial win against Chievo this Wednesday.
“We’re at the beginning of the season so we’re not looking at the table yet,” the Italian international told Juventus TV.
“We’ll take things on a game by game basis, it would be wrong to think otherwise.”
Juventus might have collected all three points with few important decisions going their way wrongly; however, the 29-year-old believes that his team played better than the opponent.
“We gained a fundamental win from a good performance,” he continued.
“We saw that the others dropped points which shows how difficult this league is.
“These games can seem more straightforward on paper when, in fact, they actually end up being very complicated.
