Juventus could make another move for Marseille left-back Benjamin Mendy next year, reports in France suggest.

The Bianconeri were looking at the 19-year-old keenly during the summer transfer window, and were reported to have tabled a bid of €2 million to bring him to Turin from his then-club, Ligue 2 outfit Le Havre.

Mendy eventually opted to snub their advances and those of Premier League teams Arsenal and Sunderland in favour of a move within France to Marseille.

However, according to French website Le10sport, Juventus have not given up on the French Under-19 international, and could make his new club an offer in January or in next summer’s transfer window.

Mendy has impressed in his four Ligue 1 appearances so far for L’OM, having been an important player of the Le Havre side which finished in sixth place in the second tier last season.
