Stephan El Shaarawy, AC MilanReports in the Italian media today are suggesting that Manchester City will resume their assault on AC Milan for Stephan El Shaarawy when the transfer window reopens.

The Citizens were in for his services as the days dwindled down in the summer mercato but he ultimately remained at San Siro and admitted he wants to stay there.

However, Tuttosport are reporting that the player could now be unsettled by the arrivals of Alessandro Matri and Kaka with Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund both interested.

Both clubs are being linked with bids for him in January and it is being suggested that City will submit an offer of over €30 million during the winter window.

The striker found himself benched for the Rossoneri’s league meeting with Cagliari last weekend.
