Giandomenico Mesto has warned his Napoli teammates for pitfalls with the upcoming game against relegation Sassuolo as an example.
The former Genoa player was used as a right-back during the Partenopei’s 2-1 victory against AC Milan.
“The match against Sassuolo is as important as the one with Milan, we must not underestimate them,” Mesto told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“The Italian championship conceals many pitfalls.
“Winning the Scudetto? It is very early to say where we will finish, but [Rafa] Benitez has won a lot and gives us the security of his ideas and we also have great players in the team.”
Napoli will be eager to continue their flawless Serie A campaign as they host last placed and pointless Sassuolo on Wednesday evening.
