Chievo coach Giuseppe has reiterated that his side cannot repeat the same old mistakes against Lazio when they visit the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Sunday afternoon.
After a goalless draw with Parma on the opening weekend the Flying Donkeys took a 2-1 lead at home to Napoli during the last round of fixtures only to lose 4-2, and the 56-year-old coach will be looking for a stronger defensive display.
“We worked hard on the errors we made against Napoli and tried to understand what went wrong in the final 20 minutes,” Sannino told the Press conference.
“We are trying to see which aspects to improve and how to avoid certain circumstances, so we must not repeat the same old mistakes.
“It’s a shame we had to work this week without the internationals. It’s tough to be without six players, but I am happy with the squad at my disposal.”
