Sassuolo secured a deal with veteran goalkeeper Gianluca Pegolo.
Pegolo joins Sassuolo from Siena who were relegated to Serie B after coming in 19th last campaign.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Sassuolo completed the deal for the goalkeeper today before the transfer window closes at 2300 CET.
The 32 year old Italian international had been with Siena since 2009 and has also played for the likes of Hellas Verona and Genoa.
