matteo brighiAhead of Saturday’s clash with AC Milan, Torino midfielder Matteo Brighi has said that he hopes the Rossoneri’s new signing Kaka is not the player he used to be.

The 31-year-old Brazilian playmaker recently rejoined Milan after a four year stint at Real Madrid, and could be set to make his second Serie A debut for the Diavolo against the Granata.

“I hope he [Kaka] is not the same player he once was, or at least that he won’t be on Saturday,” Brighi told ansa.it.

“After the loss to Atalanta we have a real desire to do well, we hope we can play our best football in Saturday’s game.”

Roma-owned Brighi is now in his second season on loan with il Toro and has previously stated his desire to end his career with hometown club Rimini.
