Udinese give Danilo new contract

Danilo - UdineseUdinese have confirmed that they have extended the contract of Brazilian central defender Danilo.

The 29-year-old’s contract was not due to expire until 2016 but he has put pen to paper on a two year extension, keeping him at Stadio Friuli until 2018.

Danilo made the move to his current club in 2009, signing from Brazilian side Palmeiras and has gone on to play a total of 96 games for the Bianconeri.

The defender has featured in both of Udinese’s Serie A fixtures to date this season to add to the 32 appearances he made in the league last season.

In his 96 games for Udinese he has found his name on the score-sheet on four occasions.
