AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is reportedly looking for a foreign investor to enable the club to balance their books and strengthen their squad.
Tutto Sport reports that Berlusconi has given a mandate to a trusted acquaintance who is set to depart for the United Arab Emirates to find potential partners. The hope is that these new investors would help the club invest more money in hopes of becoming a dominant force in Europe once again.
The personal and political problems of the Rossoneri president have urged him to consider co-ownership as a solution for the current financial problems engulfing Italian football.
Berlusconi took over as Milan president in 1986 and has since guided the club to eight Scudetto victories to go along with five Champions League trophies amongst various other honours.
