Inter reserve goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo dreams of dislodging Samir Handanovic from the club’s number one spot between the posts.
He will play this weekend while the ex-Udinese man serves a suspension for his straight red card last week against Torino, a game in which Carrizo came on and enjoyed a mixed night, saving a penalty but conceding three times.
The Argentine told InterNOS: “My first priority upon joining Inter was to get my career back on track.
“To do that you need to be surrounded by serious professionals at a serious club which I have now but did not have before arriving here.”
Those comments will certainly sting for ex club Lazio, before Carrizo continued: “I want to help the team and perhaps in the future become Inter’s first choice ‘keeper.
“At the moment I know I must accept that there is an immense goalkeeper ahead of me and I am happy being second choice.”
Carrizo arrived during the January transfer window from Lazio.
