Luigi Di BiagioItaly Under-21 coach Luigi Di Biagio has claimed that his team have all the qualities to beat Belgium next week and reach the European Championships.

The Azzurini will travel to Genk to face the Belgians in a qualifying match for Euro 2015, and the coach has insisted that his team need to keep their consistency if they are to improve as a team.

“We are obliged to go and win,” he told Corriere dello Sport. “Especially after last month’s defeat at home to Belgium.

“The most important thing though, is not to lose our style. We are trying to build a team and will keep reviewing and improving the group.

“Don’t forget that the group is starting a new cycle. That’s not an excuse though. We have to have a positive attitude.

“I am convinced of the quality at my disposal. We have all the means to qualify for the European championships.”

Di Biagio replaced Devis Mangia in the summer, after the team lost to Spain in the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship final.
