With his performances at Fiorentina over the last year earning a recall to the Italian national side Viola captain Manuel Pasqual is said to be nearing a contract renewal with the Florence club that could even see him end his career with the club.
The left wing-back has nearly completed a decade with the club after joining the Viola from Arezzo in July 2005 and was made captain of the side at the beginning of the 2012-13 season.
At 31-years-old he probably has plenty still to offer at the Artemio Franchi, however, Tuttomercatoweb are reporting that the club are hoping to secure him to a new long-term deal when he returns from international duty.
With few difficulties expected during the upcoming negotiations it is expected that Pasqual will have renowed by the time he takes to the field to face Juventus with Fiorentina next Sunday.
