Leandro Greco has stated that he is pleased with Livorno’s start to the new Serie A season.
The Amaranto, currently 13th in Serie A, have obtained eight points so far, which Greco believes is a satisfactory start for the club.
“I am quite satisfied with this start to the season,” Greco told Sky Sport Italia. “Perhaps we’re missing a point after the match in Verona , but we have made a good start.
Greco also commented on the performance of his former side, Roma.
“What has changed in Roma? I played a year under [former coach] Luis Enrique of which I have wonderful memories,” he continued.
“With [Zdenek] Zeman, however, I only took part in pre-season, I believe that [current coach Rudi] Garcia has given peace of mind and this is making a difference.”
Greco, who joined Livorno form Greek side Olympiacos in June, has appeared in all of their seven matches this season.
