Liverpool and AC Milan are set to duke it out in January for the signature of want-away PSG star Javier Pastore.

The Argentinian was signed from Palermo in the summer of 2012 for around €35 million, but has failed to live up to his price tag and is reportedly struggling with life in Paris.

TuttoMercatoWeb report that Pastore could be subject of bids in January from clubs looking to sign him from Les Parisiens, as coach Laurent Blanc has seemingly expressed little interest in starting Pastore this season.

Liverpool could be a possible destination, and AC Milan have also long-expressed an interest in Pastore, even reportedly bidding for the midfielder while he was still at Palermo.
