Lazio president Claudio Lotito believes that his team will begin to show their qualities and avoid criticism ahead of this weekends clash between Fiorentina and start winning again.

The Biancocelesti fans have seen their side endure mixed results during the campaign, losing two and drawing one of their first six games in the Serie A.

And after Thursday night’s 3-3 draw with Turkish side Trabzonspor in the Europa League, the president has insisted that his team will become good and get back to winning ways.

“Our problems have to be confronted,” he told Lazio Style Radio. “We are a democracy, and everyone is allowed to express their opinion.

“This team will start to show its attacking qualities. We have obviously had our difficulties in defence, and that issue needs to be better managed.

“Trabzonspor’s first two goals last night could have been avoided, but I do not say there is a lack of quality because even at 3-1 down, we came back to draw.”
