Napoli defenders Miguel Britos and Juan Camilo Zuniga are set to miss the next month of action after undergoing further medical tests for their injuries on Monday.
Zuniga has missed the Partenopei’s last few matches due to a knee injury while Britos limped off during the Azzurri’s 2-0 defeat to Roma with a shoulder injury.
The club’s official website confirmed that Zuniga underwent keyhole surgery in Rome on Monday, with reports indicating he is set to miss the next month of action.
Britos did not undergo surgery for his separated shoulder but the Uruguayan is expected to miss the next three to four weeks.
Napoli currently sit in second place in the Serie A, five points behind league leaders Roma.
